Summary of Job:
Responsible for the administration of all employee benefits including employer sponsored and voluntary plans and programs. Surveys and analyzes industry and/or community to determine competitive position. Monitors benefit plans to measure cost efficiency and quality of all programs. Develops, recommends and installs new or modified plans and employee benefit policies.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, Finance or related field required; Five (5) years of progressive responsibility in administration and oversight of Employee Benefits for a large employer. Current knowledge of benefit plan designs, pertinent federal and state regulations plus related compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: Benefits Management experience for a large employer and health care human resources experience desired.
Physical Demands: Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
