ST Solutions currently has an opening for a Vendor Specialist to join our purchasing team at our corporate headquarters located in Salem, VA. The Vendor Specialist is responsible for the procurement and payment associated with the Company’s needs for products and services, and works to establish and maintain inventory levels to meet Company and customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include maintaining vendor relations, generating purchase orders, analyzing purchasing requirements, and resolving invoicing discrepancies.
We are looking for a highly detail oriented and organized individual, with the analytical ability to make purchasing and inventory decisions based off of complex data. The successful candidate will also have proficient computer skills, and be able to learn new database systems.The position works within a team environment, so excellent communication skills are essential. Previous purchasing experience is also helpful.
Pay range is based on qualifications and experience. We offer a full benefits package including health insurance, life and short term disability, 401k retirement plan, vacation and holiday pay.
