About The Opportunity
As an Account Executive for Launchpad, you would be part of a new team building out our Inside Sales department, while selling our CRM application for Government and Nonprofit agencies built on the Salesforce.com platform.
The Salesforce.com platform is the Global Leader in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, and this would be a great opportunity to expand your career in the fast growing enterprise cloud software industry.
This Account Executive must have a successful track record in developing sales leads through targeted outbound activity (phone, email, social media) in the enterprise software space. They would bring in-depth knowledge of the SDR role including prospecting, research, outreach, qualification and scheduling meetings. They would also be responsible for closing a book of business monthly and meeting quota.
They would help us establish the department by helping build the roles, responsibilities and call scripts, begin initial outreach working with our CEO, Account Executive, Marketing Coordinator and VP of Customer Success to schedule appointments and generate and close new pipeline.
As the Account Executive your responsibilities would be broken out into three phase:
Setup & Pipeline - In the first 90 days you would be responsible to work with the sales & marketing team to develop the SDR system, scripts and value propositions. Then immediately outreach to existing leads and prospects to have an immediate impact on pipeline by generating qualified meetings for the Account Executive.
Close Deals - Successfully manage a pipeline of opportunities and make quota by closing opportunities on a monthly basis. Effectively manage opportunities through the sales cycle, providing clients and prospects with ongoing support and education on our platforms capabilities and value offering.
Build Team & Pipeline - In the next 90 days you will continue to drive pipeline, but accelerate growth by assisting with the recruitment and training of 2-3 new SDR’s to the team, to begin to scale the department and pipeline. You would also implement KPI metrics and ongoing training.
Develop SDR Apprenticeship Program - Once the SDR team is consistently generating pipeline, you would have the opportunity to expand the department by developing an SDR training and certification program and working with local schools to recruit apprentices to participate in the training program. Apprentices would have the opportunity to apply for a full-time SDR position.
Desired Skills & Experience:
1-2 years of proven, reference-able experience as an SDR in enterprise software or technology.
Prior formal training as a Sales Development Representative or Account Executive.
Excellent Verbal Communication - You should be able to elicit enthusiasm, excitement and sense of urgency in your voice and communication.
Excellent Written Communication - You should have formal writing experience, and able to draft strong emails with no spelling or grammar errors.
Be highly coach-able and eager to take feedback, learn and adopt new skills.
Ability to develop a SDR system including call scripts, value propositions, target campaign lists.
Experience using Salesforce's Sales Cloud, Pardot software and LinkedIn.
