The Associate Brand Manager is accountable for the creation of business building ideas and for activating the plan.
Create, execute, and evaluate highly innovative brand building programs for assigned brand/brand family.
Complete robust analytics and diagnosis of business and consumer issues and opportunities,
Lead a “learning loop” that evaluates performance and addresses new opportunities.
Collaborate with multiple internal and external contacts including agencies, consumers, distributors and retailers.
Develop winning promotional platforms and lead sales promotion process for below-the-line activities
Evaluate overall brand opportunities, market needs and sales promotion program effectiveness to develop programs that grow the brand based on team input.
Work with key stakeholders to identify and source brand appropriate tool kit for Image Sellers & Print on Demand
Work with CCD, multi-cultural and field teams to develop sales promotion tools that extend and amplify brand messages
Partner with digital manager in developing CRM and digital programs to drive consistent 360 messaging around promotional platforms.
Develop and deliver platform/program elements that solve business issues and better meet the market’s needs
Develop and deliver POS materials against promotional calendar that deliver on brand strategy, programming and reflect exceptional creative solutions that deliver business results in a timely manner.
Lead promotional packaging and gift program as needed
Work directly with agency to develop sales promotions that deliver business results
Work with manager on development of SOW, budget, contract and creative development.
Conduct effective 2-way partnership evaluation, develop an annual SWOT analysis, action planning to address gaps, key learnings, scope of work
B.A. plus 2+ years marketing, sales or sales promotion experience in a consumer goods environment.
Demonstrated experience in developing, executing and managing brand programs.
Strong verbal and written communicator who can create clear images through words
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate effectively in a collaborative matrix
Experience working with and managing outside agencies (POS development, advertising...)
Demonstrated ability to manage through influence with internal and external partners.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative “big ideas” that grow brands
Strong analytic skills and the ability to turn “insights to actions”
Strong results orientation, with a track record of superior financial performance.
Ability and willingness to travel 35-40% of the time, including some weekends
Spirits/ Bev Alc industry experience.
Strong understanding of digital marketing including CRM, Social Media/Community Management
Experience with multicultural marketing
