VIA’s Marketing Director will have the ability to strategically attract desired client /project opportunities through increased exposure and awareness of the industry and communities we serve. Our Marketing Director will have a refined talent to create visual communication and aesthetic expression + the creation of concepts and ideas using various graphic elements and tools. This position offers a unique opportunity to become a stakeholder in the continued development of VIAs’ image; to create cutting edge presentations that WIN, keeping us in front of our competition. The Marketing Director will lead the firms marketing and publication efforts, special event planning, including client relations, public outreach, and web presence, to promote and enhance the firm’s competitive edge.

To strategically attract desired client/project opportunities through increased exposure and awareness of the firm to select audiences and the community.
This effort is accomplished by leading and coordinating the firm’s marketing and publication efforts, including client relations, public outreach, web presence, and event planning, to promote and enhance the firm’s competitive edge.
Marketing activities include growing the company’s client base, through the creation of copy write, editing, formatting, and production of proposals, presentations, and exhibit materials, developing and maintaining marketing materials, managing a graphics/image database.
Education: Bachelors or Masters in Marketing, Communications, Business or related degree and five+ years of experience in architecture or engineering company office management.
People oriented, confident and charismatic to open new doors and make cold calls; A careful listener and research/opportunity focused. Must present a positive daily attitude to all internal staff and all company contacts. A flexible working attitude is imperative to diplomatically handle the shifting needs of the marketing efforts and office operations. Must have a creative keen eye toward developing opportunities within the organization to enhance the Company’s competitive edge and work environment.
Adobe Creative Suite proficiency: InDesign, Photoshop, & Illustrator
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency: Word & Excel Experience in strategizing project pursuits Experience in facilitation of meetings
5 years Architecture/Engineering/Construction management experience
