Establish relationships with strong customer focus and collaborate with our retail partners within the region assigned; provide them with valuable insights about consumer profiles and trends and consistently exceed their expectations in our knowledge and our attentiveness to their overall business needs; collaborate with the Senior Director in the creation and execution of the annual strategic business plan; interface with a diverse group of people across the organization. Manage the schedule, development, and productivity of the sales team. Meet all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual vendor sales targets. Meet all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual internal sales targets. Develop strong, positive working relationships with all internal and external customers. Assist the Interactions VP and other team members as needed/requested. Successful Sales Managers need to drive key metrics, likes sales return on Investment (ROI), through each step of the sales process. Opportunity management, pipelines and forecasting are vital. Sales Managers must be able to use their analytical skills in these areas to bolster productivity and sales. A comprehensive understanding of the issues faced by customers and the ability to craft a solution that sells them are also important.
Duties, Responsibilities and Expected Contributions

Achieves assigned quantitative and qualitative sales goals and company imperatives; create and conduct sales presentations
Oversees the sales staff, which includes: recruiting, training and development, work delegation and problem resolution
Provides timely feedback on metrics to senior management
Adhere to all company policies, food-safety certification, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure these are communicated to the Sales Team
Participates in the hiring, disciplining and administering performance evaluations for staff
Conduct regular coaching, motivating and counseling with Sales team to build motivation and team unity and performance
Manages sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of individual event programs
Maintains and fosters better relationships with counterparts and key customer figures
Collaborates with VP Interactions in the creation and execution of the annual strategic business plan
Builds outstanding relationships with Vendors, Brokers and Buyers by providing product sampling insights and advice through the development of individual event programs, including sustaining external and internal customer contacts to ensure high-level of customer satisfaction; accountable to provide on-going and on-request reports to internal and external customers
Interfaces with a diverse group of people across the organization
Must have five (5) years of related sales experience with strong customer focus, including a minimum two (2) years of managing people
Experience in catering industry, a plus
Associate of Arts degree in Business, Finance or related field, a plus
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business, Finance or related field a strong plus
- Functional Knowledge and Business Expertise Required
Exposure to a networked environment using a Windows and/or Windows like interface, proficient use of Microsoft office suite such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Access; ability to use Enterprise-wide information
