● Be the global digital thought leader for the Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands:
○ Set the agenda for consistency of frameworks, processes and tools
○ Build organizational capabilities
○ Be the media and innovation expert
● Partner with the regional and local digital marketers and brand teams to inspire and enable best in class digital marketing and creative excellence for the Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands
● Lead the global Jack Daniel’s team of digital experts
● Act as a brand steward for the Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands
Lead the development and revisions of the Global Digital Marketing and Strategy Playbook for the Global JDFOB. Disseminate, train, and update markets to ensure they are familiar with the playbook and updates.
Build strong working relationships with key global and regional digital/modern media managers and directors with the ability to proactively influence.
Approve and provide guidance on market-level social content calendars
Proactively monitor market-level digital/social marketing activity to ensure it aligns with global brand standards.
Evaluate global and market-level digital/social marketing activity to develop best practices for planning, execution, and measurement of digital marketing activity.
Facilitate collaboration/sharing of best practices across markets.
Ensure the Global JDFOB team is educated and updated on digital marketing evolution (new social platforms, innovation, etc.)
Build a strong working relationship with the global media buying agency, Spark.
Develop and maintain the Digital Asset Hub for global and market specific usage.
Lead all global social creative/content development with the global creative agencies (Arnold and FCB).
Encourage consistency of frameworks/processes/tools across the teams/regions.
Manage the Global JDFOB Modern Media Specialist - Analytics to ensure successful reporting and analysis of all digital marketing activity.
Masters Degree (M.A., MBA or Equivalent); Marketing or Communications degree
Global marketing experience
Experience building marketing plans in highly regulated industry
Experience working in beverage alcohol consumer marketing environment
MBA or other post-graduate Marketing/Communications degree
Strong influencer; demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
Comfortable forging new ground and influencing a broad range of stakeholders to do things differently
Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for all things digital
Experience in planning, executing and optimizing consumer marketing communications through social channels
Ability to conduct data analysis from several sources that leads actionable insight generation
Strong organizational skills; ability to lead multiple projects and manage project teams on an ongoing basis, in a deadline-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently; self-motivated
Demonstrated leadership ability and management skills
Agency (creative, media & developers) management experience
Willingness/ability to travel up to 25%
