The Office and Operations Coordinator will manage day-to-day office and event functions (mailings, scheduling of events, facilities management, and event support). The Office and Operations Coordinator reports to the Executive Director, working in partnership with lay leaders and other staff members to advance the mission and interests of Temple Beth-El. Key roles will include maintaining Temple databases, interacting with congregants to provide a broad range of support, coordinate Temple schedules and event needs, and manage day-to-day facilities needs. The Office and Operations Coordinator will have some responsibilities involving management of maintenance/cleaning staff and supervision of programming events, with the supervision and support of the Executive Director.
2-3 years office Administrative experience
Experience with events coordination and program development
Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel and other office administrative software, and comfort developing technology skills.
1-2 years experience in a non-profit setting preferred, but not required
Ability to problem-solve, and work closely with colleagues, congregants and Board leadership.
Accurate, detail-oriented approach to work, and strong interpersonal skills.
